Inspirational force for this project has come from SHRI KESHARICHAND MEHTA from MALEGAON, MAHARSHTRA. He is the President of AKHIL BHARTIYA KRUSHI GAUSEVA SANGHA. He has written a book on the benefits of Cow Urine and Dung. According to him, Consumption of Chemical/fertilizer/Pesticide impregnated Cereals, fruits and vegetables are the main causes leading to incurable diseases like Cancer and Kidney-related diseases, however these can be treated with help of cow urine & Dung.
At GIRIVIHAR cancer Hospital, a novel concept of “PANCHGAVYA” is being implemented in the treatment of Cancer Patients.

PANCHGAVYA
or COWPATHY is an Indian therapeutic science which makes use of five important
substances viz. Cow’s Urine, Dung, Milk, Curd and Ghee either singly or in
combination with each other or in combination with other herbs as medicinal
components in the treatment of cancer and several diseases.
It
is believed that these five substances possess medicinal properties against
many disorders and strengthen our immune system. In certain parts of Tamilnadu State
(South India) especially on the day after
Diwali, Brahmin Communities take one tbsp of PANCHGAVYA to ensure immunity for
the whole year.
PANCHGAVYA
is a system of medicine like Allopathy, Homeopathy and Naturopathy. As per the
ancient AYURVEDIC literature there are number of pharmacological applications
derived from these five substances.
PANCHGAVYA
is also abundantly used in the treatment of arthritis, renal disorders,
diabetes, acidity, asthma and gastrointestinal track disorders. PANCHGAVYA
remedies are considered as potent anti-cancer and anti-HIV agents.
Cow
Urine is a very important and a major constituent of PANCHGAVYA due to its
antibiotic, antifungal and antiviral properties.
In
AYURVEDA, it is mentioned that Cow Urine PANCHGAVYA is a great elixir, it
enhances longevity and provides mental and physical strength to heart. It
balances bile, mucous and air (TRI-DOSH) and thus cures the diseases.
In
fact, Cow Urine is being used in many places all over the world for its
antibiotic properties in the control of bacterial infection and for fight
against cancer.
PANCHGAVYA
is also used in agricultural applications in the form of fertilizers, vermin
compost and bio pesticides thereby protecting the food grains from chemical
fertilizers and pesticides.
